昨日の軽タンはトラブルで、燃料がきちんと入らなかったみたい。で、ポールを獲りに行ったみたいだった。
1回目、10周目で入った時に右リアの交換がうまくいかなくて15.2、この作戦はもう台無しのように思えた。29周目で7.2、第二スティントはブリスターも出て正直苦しい展開。もうだめだorz と思ったのも束の間、終盤からペースが上がってきて、55周目に6.6、ゑをパス!!!!その2周後に0.5あったジェンスをパス!!!
まだまだ驚く事(ていうか笑えないオチ)はあって、フィニッシュしてクルマを止めてから、なんと火が出てキミたん自ら消火。あと1周レースが長かったらと思うと恐ろしい。ホッケンのマモノめ、なんて怨念なんだ…!でも打ち勝ったよ…!と思うと彼の幸運に驚かずにはいられない。そんな感じでした。
まあ取り合えず3周目でマクラーレンが止まった時はもれなくキミだと思いましたよ。どうも彼(デラさん)、最近キミの不幸を一身に背負ってる気が…すみませんねぇ。
LTの中の人が素晴らしく勇ましい文を打ったのでここに載せて終わりたいと思います。 but there’s no doubt this aggressive strategy looks very brave next to ferrari’s pace. B R A V E ☆

“To be on the podium is really the best result that we could have achieved today as we have had several problems. During the race I was delayed in my first pit-stop due to a crossed wheel nut; I suffered from blistering on my second set of tyres, and there was a small issue with the hydraulics, which meant that Jenson Button was able to get ahead after my first stop. However none of these really mattered as we were able to make up all the time in the last part of the race where we were very strong. The result today shows that the car has definitely improved, and hopefully next race we can do even better.”

“It was great to get pole today as the car has been working really well all weekend. We had some new developments at the test last week and it is clear that they have moved us in the right direction. Obviously today is only half the story, but I like this track, and we will have to see what happens in the race tomorrow. Unfortunately I went off the track on my last flying lap, I knew I was slower than on my first attempt, so I pushed a bit harder and ran out of space on the corner, it is one of those things, but it didn’t make any difference.”

“Our car has definitely been improving over the last few races, and we had another productive test in Jerez last week as the development process on the MP4-21 continues. Hopefully when we get to Germany we will be able to make the most of this on track. Since the changes were made to the Hockenheimring, it is now more about slow and medium speed corners than all out speed. As a result, it is really important to have good traction on the exits of corners to make sure you find the speed you need on the short straights in between. Also, this cornering means the brakes are put under quite a bit of pressure so we will run with bigger brake ducts than normal and for sure braking stability is key. I hope that following a result that was not what we were looking for in France, we are able to go to Germany and put on a great race for all the Mercedes-Benz employees and fans that will be at the track for the weekend, they are always very supportive so I hope they will get to see a good result for the team.”

フィジコとの差を1点縮められたので、ドライバーズであと3点に迫りました。26周目、つるさんに対してのオーバーテイクが素晴らしかったです。以上!みたいな(笑) 地味なレースでした。
■McLaren
キミのオーバーテイク、あとデラロサがたくさん映って7位入賞。2人とも1ポジションずつageて(つまりはつるさんの分だ)ポイントフィニッシュ、たいへんよかった。
よくないのはピットワーク!!!32周目・キミ2回目、50周目・デラロサ3回目がもたつくもたつく。特にキミの2回目はタイヤ交換でちょっとミスがあったみたい。デラロサ3回目＠7.6は川井ちゃんに「今のは6.5くらいでやらないと」とダメ出しされました。22周目にトヨタ＠ラルフがあれだけピットワークでミスったんだから、マクは絶対にミスっちゃいけなかった。4位も有り得たと思う。走りがいい感じだっただけにすっごい残念です。トラブル再発がなくてよかったけど。
ちらっと映りましたが、デラロサがフィニッシュ後にコース上でストップして消火器を掛けられていました。もしや次エンジン交換+10グリッドでは…orz
■川井ちゃんのマク情報
・マクラーレンはモントーヤの自宅にドーナツを送ったらしいですよ。もうダイエットしなくていいよって事なんでしょうね
・モントーヤチームはハミルトン走らせたいらしいんですけど、デニスが首を縦に振らないんですね。マクラーレンの来季ドライバーは、マクラーレンファミリー以外から出ることはない、らしいです

キミなんかプレビューでも一言も彼について触れなかったし、デラロサは普通に走ってて「やっぱテストドライバーだし」「モンちゃんとはちょっとね」とか言えなくて、大体レースは1年以上ぶりのくせに、ちょっと前までQ2落ちしてたモンちゃんと同じクオリティで走られると本気で寂しいんですけど。チームの位置的には、デラロサGJ!なんだけどさ。(コンスト3位は死守しよう)

昨日のフリー2回目での電気系統トラブル、心配してたけどキミは元気に(?)走っていたので、まあ一安心。3列目偶数列スタート、真ん前にはつるさんという何て厄介な位置。キミは最近スタートが冴えまくっているので、オープニングラップで4番手まで順位を上げたいところ。後ろから来るフィジコに注意。先生のモーゼにも一応注意。4位でベストリザルト。眉毛を仕留めてフェラーリ1-2、3位表彰台なら夢のような結果。
あと考えられる結果を悪い順に並べとくと、フォーメーションラップでスタート出来ない→またオープニングラップで巻き込まれてさよなら→途中で電気系統トラブル再発でさよなら→完走→ポイントフィニッシュ→出来ればフィジコの前で
デラロサはまろやかに走って入賞してくれたらいいなー

“I am pretty happy with the performance of the car, we could be a little faster and there are a few things that could improve. However, with our Michelin tyre choice I expect a stable race performance, and a podium result is what I am aiming for. Otherwise I had an uneventful qualifying.”

“A normal Friday’s programme which unfortunately ended with a small electrical problem on my very last lap. This didn’t hamper our progress today where we focused on Michelin tyre evaluation and set-up work.”
2006 FRENCH GRAND PRIX PREVIEW KIMI RAIKKONEN
“The team has been testing really hard last week, and we will be bringing new parts to the car for the French Grand Prix. The car felt good at Indy and with our strategy we would have secured a couple of solid points finishes. Magny Cours can be quite a challenging track to set-up for, because its characteristics change a lot, probably more so than at most other circuits. However I quite like driving here, it seems to suit my style and I hope we can have another good race this year. It is a slow track, with low speed corners, hairpins and no major straights, it is a total contrast to the previous three circuits we have raced at. Magny Cours has a smooth surface, with no bumps and less kerbs, as a result we can run with more front wing and a lower ride height, as the car is less upset by kerbs and bumps. You tend to generate high tyre temperatures here, so blistering can be a problem, this is because the track gets very hot during the day due to the blackness of the asphalt. The track also has reasonable grip levels.
TEAM McLAREN MERCEDES CHANGES DRIVER LINE-UP FOR THE 2006 FRENCH GRAND PRIX
Woking, Great Britain, Tuesday 11th July 2006: Team McLaren Mercedes and Juan Pablo Montoya have mutually agreed for him to step down in the forthcoming races of this year’s Formula 1 World Championship. The team has decided that Pedro de la Rosa will join Kimi Raikkonen in the race driver line-up.
Juan Pablo has been an energetic member of the team since 2005, but will now spend the next few months based in Miami with his family and wife Connie who is expecting their second child in September. Following his agreement with Chip Ganassi Racing for next year, Juan Pablo will also be making initial preparations for his debut in a Chrysler Dodge NASCAR.
Pedro will make his second race appearance for the team following a thrilling points scoring debut in the 2005 Bahrain Grand Prix.
“Juan Pablo is an exciting driver and immensely likeable character who will undoubtedly make a successful transition to the NASCAR scene,” said Ron Dennis, CEO and Chairman of the McLaren Group. “We have agreed that with so many things happening in Juan Pablo’s life right now, he should take some time out of the car and prepare professionally and personally for the future.”
“We believe that Juan Pablo’s decision to move to NASCAR is very important for him professionally and we will give him every support to ensure that it is a successful transition,” said Norbert Haug, Vice-President, Mercedes-Benz Motorsport.
“I know that it will be a tough transition but I’m really excited about the opportunity to move into the NASCAR championship,” said Juan Pablo Montoya. “I have enjoyed most of my time in Formula 1 and I’m grateful for this opportunity to settle my personal life and concentrate on my future career.”
“I’m of course extremely thrilled to have this opportunity to race the MP4-21 – a car in which I’m really comfortable,” said Pedro de la Rosa. “I know the MP4-21 better than anyone else and I’m confident that I can achieve important World Championship points for the team.”
